Kyuramen - Oak Park

I loved the atmosphere! We got to sit in a small room with curtains. There was button the wall that we could press when we were ready to place an order. But the waiter was so attentive that we did not have to press the button. They came and checked on us. The ramen was delicious. I over the Thai Ice Tea. I wish I would have got another one. I did not care for the fried oysters. I wanted to try them, but I didn’t like them that much. The matcha cheese cake was so delicious!

It was your first time here. Absolutely stunning place! Delicious food and great FAST service. Im in love with these small interior’s details! Great experience! Will visit soon again!

I wish the broth was never ending, the delicious smells steamed from the grill and lingered in the air creating a desire to order one of each from the menu. Would visit again!

This restaurant is very good! Service is fast, food is great and I like the privacy. I would love to go back again. The food is worth the price for a combo. No picture for matcha pudding because I ate it all before I remember to take pictures. I ate everything and left no crumbs! You all should try!

So we went to the nearby Nature Museum with our 3 year old and I’ve been wanting to try this place forever. I was hesitant as I have a PICKY 3 year old with me and she does not do her best eating out. We were seated quickly, and our order came right out. The food was absolutely amazing but what truly blew me away was the service. Brent was our server and he was so incredibly kind, fast and patient. He let my sassy girl order her own food, made suggestions on how we could order hers (so she’d actually eat it) and checked up regularly to ensure all was well. We rarely eat out because having a 3 year old throw a tantrum in a restaurant is just not the vibe, but she did surprisingly well here and it was mostly thanks to the incredible service we received. She loved her ramen, as did we all. Also she threw a sticky trap at him and he was STILL incredibly kind to her (THANK YOU AGAIN SIR AND IM SO SORRY). The restaurant was immaculate. It was so beautiful and it was so nice to go somewhere as a family and to be able to have great food and a wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.

This place does not seem like much before you walk in, but it is really cool inside. The veggie ramen was really good all was fresh. I asked for grilled to add to my ramen and it was really good. My friend gave the omurice 4 out of 5. We would definitely return. There server answered all our questions and was courteous.

This is the first time I leave a review but definitely not the first time I come to the oak park location of this restaurant. The service and food are wonderful. I ate in a private booth with my girlfriend and I feel I had my privacy well kept without people consistently barging in. It was packed at the time I went so I know they were everywhere to attend everyone. Food is amazing, and the price in my opinion is good. I paid 15.99 for my bowl and it was so very flavorful as always. This time that I went, my ramen was served to me shortly after I was given my appetizer which to me didn’t bother me as I ate both simultaneously. A group who was there the same time as I was there, stated they were given their meal way too quickly after being given their appetizer and how it didn’t give them time to enjoy their appetizer while their ramen got cold. I can assure I spend plenty of time at this restaurant and converse quite a lot, my ramen does not get cold in the manner the review was explaining it. I was sitting next to the group who left the review and I can confirm they were bratty and rude to the waiter. The waiter did their best to satisfy the customer but the group/individual of that group was very sarcastic and rude with their tone. Perhaps service can be bumpy at times because of high traffic and demand, but overall, I will always recommend to a friend and family member. And btw, please try their amazing lemonade!!!

Had such a fun time here. For starters we were seated in a private booth which was a really nice change of pace. The food was excellent, with the chicken karaage being our favorite. Really love the sauce it comes with! The omurice was delicious and fun but for 20 I’m not sure it’s fully worth it. The ramen was pretty solid, I had the spicy tonkatsu and enjoyed it. I would absolutely come back again.
